Description of the apartment for rent
Student apartment - $850 rent
My roommate and I are looking to sublet one bedroom in our apartment from January to end of July 2026 (dates are flexible depending on the student/exchange timeline).
We live in a three-person apartment on Monkland Avenue, a lively street with 50+ restaurants, cafés, and shops. Street quiets down at night and is very safe (we have never had any safety issues coming home late at night). The location is ideal for Concordia students:
- 15-minute walk to Villa-Maria metro
- 20-minute walk / 7-minute bus or bike to Loyola Campus
- 30 minutes by metro to the downtown campus
- Bus stop located 20 meters from apartment building
The rent is $850 per month, including furniture, which makes it ideal for exchange students who wouldn’t need to purchase a bed, desk, dresser, closet, desk chair, side table, and more.
The appartment has one bathroom, as well as in-unit washing and drying, a dishwasher, oven, burners, fridge, air fryer, microwave.
Nearby Amenities:
- grocery store - 8 min walk
- Pharmaprix and Jean Coutu - both less than 5 min walk
- several dentist and therapy practices on the street as well
The apartment has high ceilings, giving it a bigger feel (as you can see in the pictures). It’s also super well insulated with full heating for the winter months. Huge windows with lots of natural light (sunrise in the kitchen and sunset in the vacant bedroom).
We’ve attatched photos below, including the photos of the bedroom that you would be staying in.
We’re both super friendly and would be happy to set up a Zoom call so you can take a look at the apartment and meet us before making your decision.
If you’re interested, feel free to send me a DM on Facebook, and reach out with any questions you may have!
